Got the film "mothers and sons" in german on vhs / dvd and saw it yesterday. Bobby Sands isn't the main person. So you don't find out what all the reasons for Bobby Sands for his behavior are. You see just the part of his life while the 2 main persons (sons) are in jail.
But, anyway, the film is very interesting. If someone likes to see it, I would lend it.

A little discussion about the film.
I'm sure, there are more then one aspect about the story of Bobby Sands that isn't reproduced in a right way. Maybe someone knowing (german) literature about Bobby Sands and the conflict in (North-) Ireland during the 20th century.
